Arc’teryx Atom Hoody Men’s Cloud / Black

The Arc’teryx Atom Hoody Men’s is a lightweight insulated layer built for situations where conditions shift throughout the day. It works as a standalone jacket for cool hikes, breezy ridgelines, climbing sessions, and evenings at camp, and it also layers cleanly under a shell for wetter or colder objectives. Its balanced construction makes it especially useful for high-output use, where breathability, mobility, and dependable warmth matter more than bulk.

The outer uses Tyono™ 20, a light, soft, air-permeable face fabric with a moisture-resistant finish. Inside, Coreloft™ Compact 60 synthetic insulation delivers warmth while maintaining performance in damp conditions, making it a practical alternative to down when weather and exertion are less predictable. Performance stretch fleece side panels improve ventilation and help the jacket move more naturally during active use.

The fit is fitted, with articulated patterning that keeps the profile close to the body without restricting movement. This makes the Atom Hoody easy to wear over base layers or under outer layers, depending on the season and setup. The insulated StormHood™ has a low-profile design with an adjustable construction and a structured mini brim for added coverage in light weather. Stretch-knit cuffs and a durable stitched hem with dual adjusters help seal in warmth and reduce drafts.

Storage is straightforward and functional, with two hand pockets with hidden zippers and an internal zip chest pocket for smaller essentials. The front closure uses a No Slip Zip™ and glove-friendly TPU zipper pulls for easier operation in colder conditions.

This updated version features an FC0 DWR finish, designed for a lower footprint and free from intentionally added PFAS. The jacket also incorporates materials aligned with bluesign® criteria, along with recycled content in select components.
