Arc’teryx Sabre Pant Men’s Regular Black

The Arc’teryx Sabre Pant Men’s Regular in Black is a waterproof freeride pant for skiers and snowboarders who want protection without a bib. Its contemporary cut gives your legs room to move when bending, traversing and riding. Style X000010450 is the revised 100D version, with updated details that distinguish it from previous generations of the Sabre Pant.

The main construction uses three-layer GORE-TEX ePE, with a recycled nylon face, ePE and polyurethane membrane, and polyester backing. The 100D outer fabric prioritises durability against regular mountain use. A low-loft fleece backer gives the inside a softer surface. This is still an outer shell rather than a heavily insulated snow pant, so choose your thermal layer according to conditions and activity.

The Regular fit has been updated with more room through the thighs. The idea is usable movement rather than simply a larger size: try the pant with your base layer and perform a deep bend or binding adjustment. Check that the waist stays comfortable when sitting. The adjustable integrated belt helps secure the fit, while belt loops remain available as part of the waist construction.

This product has Regular leg length, shown by the R in its size designation. Try it with your actual snowboard or ski boots, because cuff position changes once footwear is underneath. The reinforced instep patches with Hadron yarns add protection where sharp edges and repeated contact can wear the fabric. The reinforcement is designed to remain flexible and reduce unnecessary bunching at the lower leg.

Two side cargo pockets keep small items within reach. Thigh ventilation zips help release heat, and elasticated powder cuffs limit snow entering around your boots. Button connectors can link the pant with the Sabre Jacket’s powder skirt for additional overlap. The RECCO reflector offers a passive aid for equipped rescue teams; it is not a substitute for the safety equipment and decisions required by your terrain.

Care matters for the performance of the face fabric. Arc’teryx specifies medium machine washing and tumble drying, double rinsing and no fabric softener, bleach or ironing.
