The Armada Beatnik 2027 Snowboard is Danimals’ signature board, a directional resort-freestyle shape made for riders who find features everywhere. Side hits, rollers, berms, rope ollies and full park laps are its natural territory, but the supportive flex and camber profile give it enough structure for fast top-to-bottom riding.
With a 7/10 flex, the Beatnik sits on the more responsive side of freestyle. It is not a soft jib board. The centered stance and equal nose and tail widths keep the board balanced, while Armada’s directional classification and flex pattern are tuned for riding primarily forward. That combination makes it stable through take-offs and landings without removing the option to ride switch.
The profile combines Traditional Camber with Early Rise Rocker. Camber creates edge hold, pop and a defined platform underfoot. The early rise at the contact zones smooths turn entry and makes the board less punishing in mixed snow. On our Snowboards Explained scale, this is Hybrid Camber, a useful middle ground for riders who want precision without a fully locked-in feel.
The Pop-Lownia Core uses a 60/40 blend of poplar and paulownia. Paulownia strips help absorb chatter and reduce weight, while the poplar keeps the board dependable under repeated resort use. Biax Glass allows more torsional movement than a triax layup, helping the Beatnik stay workable through freestyle turns and presses.
Bamboosters Carbon Stringers add longitudinal response and pop, Titanal Impact Plates reinforce the binding zone, and the PTEX 3000 sintered base provides speed and strong wax retention. The Beatnik is best suited to experienced freestyle riders who want a responsive daily board for the whole resort.
