Danner Mountain Pass Hiking Boots Gunmetal

Danner Mountain Pass: Lightweight Hiking Versatility

Crafted in Danner’s Portland, Oregon factory, the Mountain Pass is a modern take on our classic hiking boot, blending timeless Danner style with lightweight versatility. Designed for light trails and urban streets, it draws inspiration from the original Mountain Light but features an innovative construction. A unified platform merges the shank, midsole, and lasting board into one piece, paired with a low-profile Vibram® Kletterlift Thin outsole, reducing weight while ensuring instant comfort—unlike traditional hiking boots.

• Nubuck Leather Upper: Sanded top-grain leather offers durability and a soft, velvet-like finish with a quick break-in period.
• GORE-TEX® Lining: Fully waterproof and breathable, keeping feet dry while releasing moisture.
• OrthoLite® Footbed: Multi-density layers provide cushioning, support, and airflow with open-cell polyurethane.
• Bi Fit Board: A single-piece shank, midsole, and lasting board cuts weight without compromising stability.
• Stitchdown Construction: Handcrafted for a wider, stable base; recraftable for extended life.
• Fit: Built on the 503 last, it offers a casual yet snug lace-to-toe fit, true to size.

Made in the USA, the Mountain Pass (Style 33290) weighs 46 oz per pair, stands 5″ tall, and comes in Shipyard Gunmetal. With a 365-day warranty and recrafting options (stretch, resole), it’s built to last. Non-insulated, lace-up design with a polyurethane footbed and waterproof GORE-TEX® liner.
