Oakley Line Miner M Matte Black / Prizm Sapphire

The Oakley Line Miner M in Matte Black with Prizm Snow Sapphire Iridium is a ski and snowboard goggle with a medium fit. Its cylindrical lens sits close to the face to open up downward and peripheral vision.

Vision and comfort

Prizm Snow enhances contrast to help reveal changes in the snow. A flexible O Matter frame, triple-layer foam and moisture-wicking fleece support a comfortable seal. Temple notches accommodate most prescription glasses.

Choosing this lens

The Prizm Snow Sapphire Iridium lens uses Prizm Snow technology to bring out differences in snow texture. Think about the light you normally ride in when choosing your setup: lens colour alone is not a reliable indication of suitability. This is a fixed lens configuration rather than the Switchlock system used on the Line Miner Pro. Choose a compatible replacement lens for the same Line Miner size if you want a second option for different weather.

Fit with your helmet

The M has a medium fit. Fit depends on face shape as well as size: the foam should make even contact without pressure around the nose, and the strap should hold the frame without crushing the foam. Try the goggle with the helmet and any glasses you use, check for a gap at the forehead and make sure your breathing is comfortable. Temple notches allow space for most prescription glasses, but compatibility should still be checked with your own pair.

Looking after your goggles

After a day on snow, let the goggles dry naturally before storing them. Avoid wiping a wet inner lens, which can damage its anti-fog surface, and keep the lens away from hard objects in your bag. Use the supplied microbag or suitable protective storage for transport. A comfortable seal and an unobstructed lens matter more than tightening the strap as far as it will go.
