The outer is made from NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop, developed from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution. A PFC-free durable water repellent finish adds light weather resistance, helping the fabric handle changing conditions and everyday moisture exposure. The result is a shell that feels purpose-built, durable, and easy to layer across seasons.

Insulation comes from 800-fill-power Responsible Down Standard down, offering a high warmth-to-weight ratio without unnecessary bulk. The quilted construction supports mobility and keeps the jacket easy to wear on its own or under a shell. For daily commutes, cold mornings, weekend travel, or low-profile mountain layering, the Down Sweater delivers effective insulation in a compact format.

Functional detailing keeps the jacket practical without overcomplicating the design. The center-front zipper includes an interior storm flap and a zipper garage at the chin for improved next-to-skin comfort. Two welted zip handwarmer pockets provide secure external storage, while the internal zippered chest pocket converts into a self-stuff pocket with a carabiner clip-in loop for easy packing. Additional drop-in interior pockets add quick-access storage for small essentials.

To help retain warmth, Patagonia finishes the jacket with nylon-bound elastic cuffs and an adjustable drawcord hem. A repair patch is included for quick field fixes, extending the usable life of the piece. Production is handled in Bangladesh, and Patagonia also supports Mamata, which provides essential services for the people who made this product.
