The Swix NO-18C North Glidewax Cold 180g is a durable, cold condition glide wax developed for the harshest winter days. Designed to perform reliably in dry, cold snow, this wax delivers consistent glide when temperatures drop well below freezing. It is engineered for conditions ranging from -8 °C to -20 °C, making it a dependable choice when cold snow demands precision and control.
Part of the Swix North series, the NO-18C is formulated with biodegradable, eco friendly ingredients, aligning performance with environmental responsibility. This balance makes it suitable for a wide range of users, from active recreational riders to competitive athletes who require predictable glide and long lasting results. The wax is especially valued for its high durability, reducing the need for frequent reapplication during extended sessions.
Although developed within Swix’s ski wax program, the NO-18C North Glidewax Cold is also a universal glider for snowboard and freeride use. Its performance characteristics translate effectively to snowboard bases, offering smooth glide and stable speed control on cold, dry snowpacks often encountered in mid winter resort and backcountry conditions. This has made it a popular option among snowboarders and freeriders looking for reliable base performance in low temperature environments.
The wax comes in a 180 gram speed brick format, designed for easy application with a waxing iron. The compact block shape allows for controlled melting and even distribution across the base, helping achieve a clean, consistent finish. This format supports efficient waxing sessions at home or in the workshop, without unnecessary waste.
The NO-18C is positioned as a practical, performance focused glide wax rather than a specialized race only product. It offers dependable results across a wide temperature window within the cold range, making it a smart addition to any winter waxing setup when conditions turn firm and dry.
For riders who prioritize glide consistency, durability, and environmental consideration in cold weather, the Swix NO-18C North Glidewax Cold provides a straightforward, proven solution.
