Union Force in Yellow is a men’s snowboard binding built as a true all terrain option, designed for riders who want one setup that can move easily between freestyle laps, all mountain riding, freeride lines, and harder charging performance use. As the next generation of Union’s most established model, the Force is positioned as a durable, dependable binding with a smooth, responsive ride and a balanced flex that works across changing conditions.
With a stated 7/10 flex, the Force sits in a versatile zone that offers enough support for fast edge to edge response, while still maintaining the mobility needed for everyday resort riding. That makes it a strong match for riders looking for a single binding that does not feel too soft in steeper terrain or too rigid when the day shifts toward side hits, park laps, or mixed snow.
The construction is centered around the S9 Duraflex ST baseplate, which Union describes as delivering its highest levels of strength and energy transmission to date. Combined with an Extruded 3D Aluminum heelcup and S19 Duraflex ST highback, the overall setup is focused on direct board connection, structural durability, and consistent control. Underfoot, the Molecular Bushing Suspension System adds an additional layer to the ride feel and helps define the binding’s smoother overall character.
Comfort and hold are handled by an Exoframe 6.0 ankle strap with PU Core and a TS 5.0 UltraGrip toe strap. The hardware package includes Magnesium S2 ratchets with steel base, Grade 8.8 steel hardware, Cam-Lock FLAD, and EXO Quick-Lock strap adjustment, keeping the binding practical to fine tune and ready for repeated use through a full season.
The Force uses a Camber Disk and is compatible with 4×4, 4×2, and Channel mounting systems, making it easy to pair with a wide range of boards. Total stated weight is 2.20 kg. Union also backs the model with a lifetime warranty for the baseplate and heelcup, plus 1 year for everything else.
