The Union Ultra has become a symbol of freestyle progression, giving riders the freedom to express themselves anywhere on the mountain. The 2026 Black Edition delivers that same surfy performance in a stealth-inspired design that pairs perfectly with any setup. Light, responsive, and comfortable, this binding is built for snowboarders who want creativity and control in equal measure.
Freestyle Focus
The Ultra Black Edition is engineered with a medium-soft flex that prioritizes freedom of movement while maintaining enough support for landings and carving. Whether you are buttering side hits, lapping the park, or flowing through natural terrain, the Ultra encourages playful riding without ever feeling unstable.
Advanced Construction
At the core of the Ultra is Union’s Stage 11 ASYM Duraflex ST baseplate. Lightweight yet durable, it transfers energy smoothly from rider to board. The S15 Ultra Duraflex highback adds quick response while keeping things tweakable. Magnesium S1 ratchets finish the setup with reliable, low-weight performance designed for heavy use.
Comfort and Board Feel
The Ultra Black Edition offers a natural, connected feel underfoot. Forma X ankle straps and TS 4.0+ toe straps wrap your boots securely while still allowing flexibility for style-driven riding. The EVA footbed absorbs shocks and vibrations, keeping your ride smooth even after long sessions or heavy landings.
