2-layer GORE-TEX provides waterproof, windproof and breathable protection. The membrane is the weather barrier; the outer fabric and seam construction complete the garment. The Rain extends the GORE-TEX shell above the waist with a full bib front. Adjustable elastic suspenders set the position, and chest and leg pockets offer separate storage. A two-way zip opening adds practicality, while reinforced hems and kick panels address wear around the boots.

Zip Tech® connects this garment to compatible Volcom outerwear with the matching interface. Closing the connection adds coverage around the waist, particularly useful when bending, sitting or riding through deeper snow. Both pieces must have the compatible system; it does not connect to an ordinary clothing zip.

Warmth through layering
This is a shell, so your base layer and any additional insulation determine warmth. A lighter combination can work for active riding and milder weather; colder lift rides may call for more insulation.
